For an all-rounder gasketing product, try LOCTITE® Hi-Tack Gasket Sealant. This liquid adhesive holds gaskets in place during assembly, prevents seizing, corrects gasket alignment, and allows easy disassembly. It seals and bonds rubber, cork, paper, felt, metal, and asbestos gaskets, and sets quickly to a very tacky film. It’s operational up to 260°C (500°F) and is perfect for weather stripping and waterproofing electrical connections.
