TECHNOMELT^® PUR is the first choice whenever maximum bond strength plays a decisive role - for hard-wearing furniture as  well as for elements for indoor or exterior use. Bondings with TECHNOMELT^® PUR are resistant against humidity, heat, cold as well as oil and many solvents. As TECHNOMELT^® PUR does not contain moisture, substrates do not swell. Thus, tensions during the drying process do not occur. These advantages make TECHNOMELT^® PUR the right choice where quality is of essential importance, e.g. high gloss surfaces.

Non-reactive Hotmelts – a new level of processing

Non-reactive hotmelts are frequently used for edge banding and profile wrapping, flat lamination, assembly and sealing processes. Under the TECHNOMELT^® brand, Henkel is offering non-reactive hotmelts on EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate), polyolefin (APAO) as well as polyamide (PA) base. In general, these thermoplastic hotmelts differ in terms of their adhesion and heat resistance. The clean processing, coupled with high machine speeds, fast setting and excellent aging behaviour make them first choice for furniture and building components.

Liquid PU – Reliability for the building industry

Polyurethane is an advanced thermoset polymeric composition with unique versatility. The adhesives are available in one-component or two-component systems, bond well to a large variety of materials and are frequently used for load bearing timber constructions as well as panel and sandwich elements. One-component PUR adhesives are applied in areas where ease of use, reliability and durability are required. Two-component systems are perfect for joints that are exposed to dynamic loads like vibrations or heavy impacts.

Waterbased Adhesives – Efficient and sustainable adhesive solutions

Dispersion glue, often referred to as emulsion, is an adhesive consisting of an organic binder (mainly PVAc) that is finely dispersed in water. Henkel is your experienced partner, offering a comprehensive portfolio of waterbased adhesives based on different polymers (e.g. PVAc, EVA, PUD) for a multitude of application fields – from flat lamination over assembly to 3D thermoforming. TECHNOMELT^® UV – New standards in coating and sealing

Henkel’s innovative UV hotmelts belong to the group of radiation-curable adhesives. They are solid, mono component and are processed at temperatures of about 100°C. Furthermore, they contain acrylates and photoinitiators, which are activated by UV light to form polymers. TECHNOMELT^® UV hotmelts fully cure in fractions of a second and can thus be processed immediately. Being VOC and solvent free, the UV-curing adhesives are the way forward.
