LOCTITE® 609

Features and Benefits

A 1-part, high-strength, general-purpose, anaerobic-curing retaining compound designed for bonding cylindrical fitting parts.
When it comes to locking bushings and sleeves in housings on shafts, augmenting press fits, or bonding any close-fitting cylindrical parts, LOCTITE® 609 is a good choice. This green, high-strength, anaerobic-curing retaining compound cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces, providing a high-strength and corrosion-free bond. Typical applications include rotor assemblies on shafts in fractional and subfractional horsepower motors.
  • Low viscosity
  • Augments press fits
  • Fluorescent under UV for quality control
  • Operating temperature range: -55°C to 150°C (-65°F to 300°F)
